Trial Selection will take place on September 7, Saturday. Any new players are welcome to participate - existing EBA students are automatically included in the squads.

A note from our coaching team: Our EBA group training program will commence on September 21st
Our academy kids will be divided into four levels:
Little Warriors
Junior Warriors (Tier One)
Junior Warriors (Tier Two)
Elite Warriors (Competitive)
Notes
Elite Warriors are only for the top players in New South Wales, and are ready to represent Australia National Team.
There will be performances review every term by ALL four coaches. Where all four coaches agree that certain players deserve to be promoted, will there result in a promotion.
With this new EBA structure, this will bring in a professional system of training that will bring all our athletes to the next level, and the ultimate goal is for you all to experience what it’s like to be a top athlete, regardless of whether that is the journey you would like to embark on.
We must also reiterate to all parents and students here, to make it crystal clear, that it is NOT easy to gain a promotion. It is a rule that will be implemented VERY strictly.
By this, we have come to an agreement that your attitude during group trainings will be valued and reviewed primarily. Hard work is the key to succeeding.
During group trainings, you must treat yourself as a professional player, and we are giving you our maximum efforts to improve you like no others are going to. In turn, we expect maximum return from you. This represents passion, dedication AND responsibility as you now are representing the professional squads of Elite Badminton Academy. With a world class coaching team and structure, it is of our expectations that all students and players are giving us world class attitude and mentality too.
It is NOT easy. You have to be hardworking. Bring us your A-Game, and we bring you to a whole new level.
Students who are outstanding and handpicked by our team will be promoted to the next level.
Demotion twice in a row will result in expulsion from our EBA Squad, permanently. The reasoning behind, is that if you do not value or treasure your place in the Squad with importance, there will be others who will gladly take your place.”
On the contrary, should you be on the opposite end, there is a chance you will be demoted to the prior level.
Only available in below Squad
EBA Little Warriors
- To learn the basic foundation of high clear, smashing, drop shots, netting, lifting, serve and return of serve
- Basic Footwork
- All warriors must do it properly in accordance with the standard required by all our four coaches
- Only upon satisfaction of all criteria and subject to all coaches' consent, will they be promoted to Level 2.
EBA Junior Warriors (Tier 1)
- All that has been taught to Level 1 Warriors - this means that Level 1 training must have been completed. - More intense training in terms of footwork, speed, acceleration, stamina, fitness and strengthening. - All Level 2 must learn to keep the rallies going (Minimum: 30 shots in a row) without making unforced errors.
- For Level 2, warriors will begin to learn how to play singles properly, which includes how to cover the entire court during a game without making errors.
- Where Level 2 Warriors are able to complete up to the required standard to the satisfaction of all coaches, they will have the opportunity to be promoted to Level 3.
EBA Junior Warriors (Tier 2)
- Have developed a sophisticated and comprehensive understanding of footwork, strokes and drills
- Full knowledge of correct footwork and how to play singles
- Level 3 will consist of hard and tough training, which addresses specifically speed, power, accuracy, game tactics, and mentality when dealing with adversity during a competition
- Level 3 Warriors MUST play in tournaments as advised by our coaches
EBA Elite Warriors (Competitive)
- To qualify for Level 4, you are now amongst the most elite players of EBA. And you MUST be elite!
- Your talent, achievements and capabilities will make you into a top player in New South Wales and even representing Australia National Team on the biggest stage of them all.
- N.B. Level 4 Players will receive partial sponsorship to enter into international tournaments depending on your potential and abilities, including entering into exchange programs with the world's BIGGEST professional badminton

Notes
- Internal Competition (Battle of the Galaxy) at the end of each term to review progress and performance of every EBA warriors.
- Winner of the category will automatically be promoted one category.
- There will also be one other player per category who will be selected following our four coaches’ decision.
- Certificates will be issued to all warriors at the end of each term.
- Most Valuable Warrior Certificate (PER category) will also be issued.
If any program warriors are encouraged by our coaches to take part in competitions (e.g. NSW Junior Open), our coaches will also be present for coaching, in order to help our EBA warriors reach their target.
